Memorial Weekend

The weekend didn't start off so great. While playing with Jordyn, I bumped Olivia right in the face on Friday. She was okay, but I wasn't! I felt so terrible! I could not handle the guilt!

I went downstairs the next morning only to find piles of poop (NOT PICTURED!) all over our main level. Jordyn was either sick or protesting something. Either way, cleaning all morning was not fun. There have been no incidents since.  Jordyn was to have surgery on Tuesday to remove the bump on her back, but she lucked out because the bump disappeared. She redeemed herself!

Rob, Olivia, and I went over to my aunt Melanie and uncle Tommy's housewarming party on Saturday.

Later that day, Rob and I went with some friends to watch polo. It was such a nice evening!

On Sunday evening, I got to go out with some friends. It's always fun to get out and about with them! Sorry...no pictures! What happens on girls' night...stays on girls' night!

On Monday evening, Rob, Olivia, and I went over to Grammie and Gramp's house for dinner. The food was yummy! Olivia's dress was so cute...you'll have to trust me because you guessed it..no pictures!

Previously mentioned, I was doing the Special K challenge. I love this diet. The food is good and filling. I lost about 4 pounds on it. I think I may have gained some back after eat fest this past weekend. I'm going to stick with it to lose about 6 more pounds. I will admit that I had other cheat days and I didn't drink as much water as I should have. If you're looking for an easy diet...this is for you. I still haven't tried the shakes yet, but the meal bars are so good. If you chose to do this diet, the meal bars and shakes seem the cheapest at Target.

Finally, grocery shopping is difficult with Olivia. Rob and I tried it once with her. After that experience, I knew I couldn't handle the shopping, coupons, and her all by myself. I was determined to find another way to shop during the week though. I have been using the Harris Teeter Express Lane shopping the past few months. I LOVE this service. Basically, I do all my grocery shopping online and then I just go to the store to pick the stuff up. All my groceries are placed right in my trunk. I can still use my coupons and this service is only $4.00. Well...I have breaking news for everyone...during the summer...this service will only cost you $1.95. Best time to try it out! ~Kim
