Last week....

We hung around the house mostly and did some chores. Rob's mother came over on Wednesday. Once again, Olivia started laughing at Jordyn. It was so funny. Olivia also did tons of "talking" last week which was also amusing. Olivia has been trying to sit up and does a really good job with some support. Rob, Olivia, Jordyn, and I went over to Rob's parents' house for dinner on Thursday. It was very yummy. Olivia got to hang out in the swing that they have. She loves that swing! Advice for future parents...don't fall into the everything has to match trap. Go for the best product! Friday was laundry and cleaning madness! I always feel the need to get all of that stuff done right before a trip because I like to return to a clean, put together house. We went to North Carolina over the weekend to help Rob's aunt Debbie celebrate her 21st birthday! ;)  The weather didn't completly cooperate and it got a bit cold. Olivia did not like this and got very moody. But, she did really well with her first hotel stay and slept through the night anyway despite being in a different place. Rob got to eat at Cracker Barrel twice on our trip. It was good to get away for a little bit. Meanwhile, back at home...Jordyn hung out with my mother. I think they had a good time. Thanks Mom! Monday evening...Rob actually had Olivia laughing. So, everyone has her laughing but me! Why isn't my Easter ticker working??? ~Kim

Weekend

On Sat, I went to a crop that was arranged by Becky's sister in support of the Avon Walk. I don't scrapbook very often, so it takes me forever just to figure out what I'm doing. Once I'm into it, it's time to stop. I swear each time that I'm going to work on the stuff, but then I don't make time. Anyway, I really am going to make time this time!!! I will be working on 2010 as it unfolds as well as finishing 2007, Olivia's book, and our wedding book. Yes...that was almost 5 years ago! Hey...I still have a honeymoon camera to develop and my dress has not been cleaned and boxed. Yikes...I'm throwing myself under the bus! Anyway, below you will find Becky and Amanda working on their books.

On Sunday, we went to my parents' house for the day. We went to Harris Crab Shack. YUMMY! It was so nice to take in the weather and a crab sandwich!

Rob had the all you could eat crab legs and shrimp. Olivia and Rob were excited about this, but by the end...both were worn out! ~Kim

Pet Expo

Olivia and I went to the Pet Expo today with Katie, Amy, Amanda, Jen, and Jacob. Tons of cute dogs everywhere! ~Kim

Happy St. Patrick's Day and Happy Birthday Jennifer White!

Olivia and I ventured to the grocery store today with the Baby Bijorn. She's not in love with it, but I got what I needed. I thought it was a big accomplishment!

Olivia also discovered that she loves her bunny blanket. She was so cute playing with it. I enjoyed that she fell asleep as it gave me a chance to give her a much needed manicure and pedicure.

I attempted to make shamrock sugar cookies today. I honestly have never used a cookie cutter in my life. That was a lot harder than I expected. Needless to say...I had my windows open and my neighbor Ginger said she smelled them burning! I then tried to make brownies out of a box and they didn't work out either for some reason. Guess it wasn't my day for desserts. Probably better off anyway. :( I did make a quick version of shepherd's pie that turned out pretty good. Rob's parents (aka Grammie and Gramps) came over to help us celebrate St. Patrick's Day too. ~ Kim

Apps...not just food before the meal...

While out with the girls on Saturday night, we got to talking about different applications for our smart phones. Of course Rob being technologically savvy, he mentions stuff all the time. But, something about an app that makes farting noises didn't appeal to me. I have had my smart phone for almost two years and I have never downloaded an app. So, needless to say...I have started downloading apps and they are so much fun. I now have an app that tells me where the cheapest gas is where ever I am. Love it!

A few posts ago, I mentioned that Olivia had a stuffy nose. Well, she still does! I called the doctor and they just told me to keep doing what I'm doing because sometimes they can reinfect themselves. So...I continue to utilize evil in a can and its trusty assistant "Sucker." I have decided (being that I have a medical degree) that it is due to the heat/ dryness in the house, so I need to get a humidifier for her room and try it out.

My mom came to visit us today. We went to Foster's Grill for lunch....yum...and did some shopping. I'm glad Olivia, Jordyn, and I got to hang out with her.

March Madness

March has been a busy month. So far...happy birthday to Amanda and Emily! Last weekend, Rob and I attended Amanda's birthday celebration while Olivia hung out with Rob's parents. I forgot my camera. :( But, leave it to Amanda to have her camera. We had a great time!

Olivia, Jordyn, and I went for walks this past week because the weather was so nice. We also ran errands and Olivia was well behaved. Last night, Olivia and Rob had some bonding time and hung out at Grammie and Gramp's house while I went out to celebrate Emily's birthday which was tons of fun! Yet again, I forgot the camera. Not a good camera week. Anyway, hope everyone had a good past week and a good upcoming week! ~Kim
